    Center Director

    Purpose:

    The General Manager (GM) is responsible  for leading all aspects of the business centre under their control. This involves dilivering our services to customers on a daily basis as well as managing the centre and its performance.

    This achieved through effective business planning, developing your people and growingnew and existing customers.

    To be successful, excellentleadership, planning, and execution skills are required.

    The GENERAL MANAGER must continuously improve performance, identifying opportunities and overcoming challenges.

    Scope: 

    • Centres vary from small drop in locations to large 5 star business centres in over 100 countries

    Key Relationships:

    • New and existing customers 
    • Centre team 
    • line manager

    Key areas of responsibility 

    Leadership:

    • Recruit, induct, train and develop your team to maximise performance and engagements
    • Assign and delegate clear tasks and responsibilities 

    Effective business planning:

    • Improve and update the centre business plan 
    • Communicate to your team and deliver the business plan actions

    Grow the business: 

    • Manage and develop a pipeline of new business to maximise centre occupancy and usage
    • Sales effectiveness: Deliver key metrics of conversion and price
    • Grow the relationship with existing customers
    • Influence the volume of new business 

    Customers service:

    • Lead by example, creating a strong ethos of customers service throughout the team
    • Drive customer retention 
    • Build profitability by developing the products and services existing customers access

    Skills and experience: 

    • 5 Years of experience 
    • Customers service focused with the ability to remain flexible and calm in high pressure or continually changing situations
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to engage and motivate people to take action
    • Comfortable making decisions, evaluating options and considering consequences 
    • Strong organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise, multi-task, delegate and work effectively with minimal supervision
