The
Cimba team is passionate about data. We are responsible for full data
processing flows, from ingestion of raw data streaming in live from
microservices around the world, applying analytic techniques and other
classification methodologies, preparing it for ad hoc and visual
rendering technologies, making our rich data sets available to drive and
enable decision making worldwide.
We
are looking for a highly motivated Analytics Engineer who thinks
outside the box. The ideal candidate brings a combination of software
engineering skills, familiarity with analytic methods and tools, and
experience with big data challenges. You will be a member of a team
supporting a range of large-scale data mining and analysis projects,
being the bridge between business users and our platform development
engineers. The candidate will design and provide support for cutting
edge self-service data exploration tools. S/he is expected to have
experience with dimensional data modeling and surrogate or foreign keys
should not be foreign words to the candidate.
Your role will involve…

Working
directly with business stakeholders to understand their requirements
and enable them to derive insights from available data sources - Implementing and maintaining a set of mission critical KPI’s for the business
- Providing global support for our self-service data exploration platform
- Building reference data models and best practices for dashboard and report creation
- Being an internal analytics consultant / evangelist
Exigences de l’emploi:
In return you will bring…
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or related technical field, a Master’s degree is a plus
- A passion for analytics and tools to extract insights from data
- Ideally 1-3 years of professional work experience in an analytics-focused role
- Significant past experience with SQL, and general understanding of dimensional data modeling
- Good working knowledge of BI tools such as Tableau, QlikView, etc.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while having a well-organized working method
- A professional attitude with strong interpersonal and communication skills at different levels
- Fluency in English written and spoken
