As part of its development, Unilever Maghreb is recruiting for its subsidiary
based in Tunis a Finance
Controller.

Main Purpose

Focus :  safeguard the integrity of
financial information, financial controls & governance in the business
while strongly partnering with IBM, Cap Gemini & Operational Centres in
full delivery of the 3-Tier business

Relationship with client
group :  The role
will have strong relationships with all internal & external stakeholders
of the business (Statutory, corporate & internal auditors, banks, tax
administrations, IBM/CG/OC, all business functions, regional group/centre,
etc

1.  P2P  management:

•  Financial Reporting signoff

• 
Local compliance
(statutory reporting and tax filing)

•  Judgment on country specific transactions

· 
Key point of
contact for financial accounting enquiries for sites.

2.  R2R
& COPA management (Month End Close & Reporting ) :

· 
Co-ordination of
accruals, transfer journals and cross charge processes.

· 
Pre-close
validation check – CBT/ CRG/ Function combination.

· 
Variance analysis
and local country financial support.

· 
Identify,
investigate and rectify any anomalies.

· 
Production of
local reporting and ad hoc information requests.

· 
Balance sheet
review and prepayment control.

· 
Support
Management Reporting consolidation and trend analysis.

3.  Business
Process Improvement:

· 
Actively drive business process
improvements in line with the ETS and Unilever organisation strategy.

· 
Proactively engage in developing internal
organisational ETS synergies and efficiencies.

Profile

• Minimum of 3 years’ Experience in Accounting
  and tax system
• Knowledge of local Accounting and Tax system
• Graduated from Top Business School
• French & English Proficiency
• Analytical skills
• Able to work under pressure
