Key Responsibilities
- Accomplishes
the daily and weekly planning of the warehouse work flow (samples
receipt, delivery, returns, inventory as well as the teams’ shifts,
tasks assignment and resources allocation) - Ensures that inventory due dates, delivery deadlines, the productivity targets and the quality standards are met.
- Documents and delivers regular reports on individual and team performance to the Senior traffic coordinator.
- Recruits, trains and supervises the warehouse staff to perform according to an automated working process.
- Makes
and implements continuous improvements that allow the team to improve
efficiency and quality. These improvements may consist of, but are not
limited to, changes in processes, training, equipment/tools, or staff. - Manages
the staffing levels and career development of team members. This
includes recommending changes to headcount as needed based on
requirements from Product Management, ensuring continued growth of team
members, and exiting poor performers where necessary. - Keeps stock control systems up-to-date and makes sure the inventories are accurate.
- Responds to and deals with traffic coordination communication.
- Ensures compliance with health and safety norms and legislation.
- Performs HR and payroll-related functions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in logistics, warehousing or stock management.
- 3 to 5 years old working experience.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Good leadership skills.
- Ability to multitask.
- English skills.
